Mulin del Rancone is a farmhouse in Garfagnana, one of the first in Tuscany to propose this type of holiday, "agricultural tourism" or better, pleasant stay in real farms.
Initially guests were staying in the same house with the owners but today the offer was adapted to better meet the needs of the guests as a convenience, comfort and privacy, all without affecting the charm of this type of holiday.

We are in Camporgiano, in the province of Lucca between the Apuan Alps and Apennines. "Mulin del Rancone" is an ancient water mill on the banks of the river Serchio, that is still a small and clear stream.
The stone complex retains all the charm of the past and it is divided into different levels and it's insered in a small downhill that goes to the river, where over the years has formed a pretty little river beach, much appreciated by guests .

At your disposal you will find also vast plains, the pool, the park with games for children and teens and the newriding school where you can have lessons to approach the horse or for the more experienced the opportunity to participate in excursions including suggestive passages in the bed of the river until you get to a real equestrian tourism of one or more days.
We have also to mention our restaurant, known and appreciated for the "home cooking", largely based on typical products of the Garfagnana in line with what is the "Garfagnana's culinary tradition".
We are waiting to surprise you with tasty innovations and variations high quality local meet, Brown Trout up and fresh seafood from the Versilia, less than an 'hour drive from us!

On the estate there are trails for quiet and relaxing walks. For those who wish to trek more or less challenging are available itineraries since arriving on the rocky ridges of the Apuan Alps on one side and green massifs of the Apennine on the other!

Two mountain ranges with beautiful landscapes characterized by opposite and interesting peculiarities.
